Four Herb (Essiac) - Some Anecdotes

With a few updates over the years

Liver Cancer - On the 19th July, 1996 the patient was not expected to survive the week. He was unable to digest any herbal treatments by mouth, therefore his wife (guided by a profeessional medical herbalist) massaged from chest to pelvis twice a day. He weighed little over seven stones and was recommended to try herbalism as a last resort. The cream made him sweat but he did not die and the massaging continued. In September 1996, I heard from the Medical Herbalist that he was putting on weight and was beginning to take the herbal remedies by mouth as well. In October of that year he was strong enough to invest in an exercise bycicle and begin to build up his muscles. His oncologist was so pleased that he thought that he was strong enough to take chemotherapy. However, an unrelated chest infection prevented this. He continued to use the Four Herb Cream. In 1996 he enjoyed a good Christmas with his family and by this time he was over nine stones. In January 1997, his blood count was almost normal and his tumour was reduced to “very small”. He continued to gain weight and take more exercise. At his next hospital visit in April 1997 his blood count was normal and the tumour was gone. He has his regular quarterly check-ups.

Breast Cancer (general information) - Medical Herbalists suggest the cream in conjunction with the Essiac Tonic Drink and from time to time, I hear from them of tumours shrinking. They are currently taking on twelve new customers a week with breast cancer, so I am sure that I only hear a small part of the story. However, I do see encouraging improvements, on my visits to the Laleham Cancer Support Group.

Bone Cancer - Four Herb cream has helped to ease pain from bone cancer.

Prostrate Cancer - I understand from anecdotal indications that there are positive improvements with both the ESSIAC tonic and Four Herb Cream and it is understood from some medical opinion in the USA and Canada, that when the site of the cancer is in extremeties of the body, (such as prostrate) up to six times the usual dose of ESSIAC can be taken daily. The supposed reason for this is that the dispersal of the tumour is at the edge of the body and not in mid-body where its dispersal could prove toxic.

PENILE CANCER - Diagnosed (during 1997) with cancer of the penis and immediate amputation was recommended and firmly rejected by the patient, who took Essiac Tonic and lavishly applied the Four Herb Cream. Ten monthly later there was no sign of the cancer. As far as I know he had no chemical treatments. The sufferer was told that this problem was usually fatal or resulted in suicide. The medical team are bemused and recommended surgical investigation. This has been declined. This man is proposing to write a book on this experience. Attached an anecdotal story written in 2003. He was officially pronounced clear in 2003 (after 5 years)

LUNG CANCER IN 11 YR OLD GIRL (REPORT 15/8/1998) - In January 1998 she was in hospital with a lung tumour from collar bone to liver. Embarked upon daily ESSIAC TONIC and twice daily application of 4 Herb Cream applied over the tumour area. Followed a specific diet. At some stage during the next six months chemotherapy was applied. In April 1998 (at hospital check) the tumour was reduced by 57 per cent.

In June 1998 (at hospital check) the tumour was reduced another 50 per cent.

In August 1998 the tumour was small enough to remove safely, along with two ribs as a precaution. The prognosis is good. The girl’s father kept a graph of her general health fluctuations during all these treatments both “alternative” and conventional, which apparently makes interesting reading. In June 1999 she is still doing well.

LUNG CANCER - This was an inoperable case in late 1998… The tumour was very large and no treatment was available. The patient took ESSIAC TEA and used the cream twice a day on back and front of his body. In four months scans revealed only scar tissue remained and his blood count was normal.
